Signing up for laborations, general
To sign up: Enter your student ID on the form xxxyy000 in one of the fields below and click "Sign up". You should then get a confirmation email. -
Signing up students that wish to do laborations together
Sign up together by entering your student IDs in the same lab group. All involved students get individual confirmation emails.
Note that there are courses where laborations are done individually. In that case, a lab group consists of only one student. -
Signing up a student in an empty group
It is perfectly possible to sign up if there is an empty group around. Follow the general instructions above. Note that anyone can later sign up in your group, and you are then expected to do the labs together.
There may be additional instructions for your course about to what extent there may be half-full lab groups. -
Signing up a student in an already half-full lab group
As long as a lab group is not full, you can sign up to that group. Then sign up by entering your student ID in an empty field for that group. All students in the group will be notified about the change by email. -
Extra students in lab groups
The course teachers are responsible for the sizes of the lab groups. Note that there are courses where a lab group consists of only one student. Sometimes students ask for the possibility to add an extra student to a group that is already full. These kinds of requests should be directed to the teachers of the course. -
Signing off from labs
You got a confirmation email when you signed up for the lab. If you want to sign off, you should use the sign-off link that was included in that email. That is the one way to sign off from a laboration. Any remaining students in your group will be notified about the change by email. -
Changing lab partner
Changes of lab partners are expected to be done by the students themselves, by signing off and signing up again.
The lab groups are separated by horizontal lines. Note that there are courses where a lab group consists only one student. If you try to sign up for a group, and if someone manages to sign up for that particular group before you do, such that there is no seat left in the group, then this system tries to sign you up anyway. First it tries to find an empty group to place you in. If that is not possible, it tries to sign you up for an existing group with seats left. The only situation in which you will not be signed up is if there are no seats available at all on this occation.
Are you having technical problems with this lab sign-up system?
Contact Mikael Olofsson . Note that a full lab session is not a technical problem. If a lab is full, then contact the course responsible.
